Black and white photograph of Whittier Elementary School, front and side elevations. Located at 295 South 10th Street, Whittier Elementary School was designed by the architecture firm Rose and Peterson and planned to provide more light and circulation for the students and staff. Constructed in 1921-1922 the twelve room brick structure opened in 1922. The building was replaced in 1989 with a new Whittier School directly across the street,
