Description
Black and white photo of Garrison School, front, side elevation. Originally known as Armstrong School, the two room brick structure was built in 1873. Located at the corner of 8th and Colorado in Armstrong (before annexation) in 1939 the building was the oldest still in use in the district. The building was demolished in 1956 to make way for the Kansas Turnpike.
