Description
Black and white photograph of Edison School, side, rear elevation. Named for Ralph Waldo Emerson, the school was located at 1429 South 29th Street in Argentine. Construction was completed in 1887 and the school had six rooms. The building was damaged in the flood of 1951 and replaced by a new school in 1961.
