Description

Black and white photograph of Dunbar Elementary School, located at 6th and Rowland, front and side elevation. The school was constructed in 1907-8 and designed by architect W. W. Rose. Serving African American students, it was named for noted poet Paul Laurence Dunbar. Razed in 1972.
